NZQA is responsible for monitoring the quality and standards of institutes and the courses they provide in New Zealand. Dominion English Schools is rated Category One by NZQA, which is the highest standard possible within New Zealand.
Dominion is a foundation member of English New Zealand, which was established in 1986 and is the voice for both private and state sector English language schools in New Zealand. Being a member school means we are approved by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) and are signatories to the New Zealand Ministry of Education Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students. In addition, member schools must meet the rigorous English New Zealand Standards. These standards assess schools using both academic and management criteria specific to the English language industry.
English New Zealand is a registered society and is the main body for the English language sector.

Dominion is a TOEIC testing centre for our internal students. This allows our students to be assessed by a globally recognised test for English communication. We have tests scheduled at the end of each of our TOEIC courses. Please see our courses timetable for further details.
